By popular demand we have introduce the RMS E46 M3 Sportsman system. Low boost, low price and big fun. Stage one also known as the Sportsman kit is a fine way to start. You can build it up to higher levels with simple upgrades when and if you want more power. RMS Hardware - RMS Hardware is known to be the best in the industry. Nothing is spared in RMS hardware design. The surface ground, 26mm, 6061 t6 Aluminum plate, ridged mounts the supercharger to the engine with attention to details fit, and finish. The No Flex design assures perfect belt alignment under extreme conditions. These heavy duty brackets are used on all E46 M3 stages using the V1 or V2 Blower Supercharger - RMS uses the Vortech V2 Sci trim blower on the E46 M3. This model blower is considered the new generation among superchargers. Highly advanced computer designed gears feature an optimized helical profile which allows for near silent operation while providing superior performance. Ideal for latest generation of improved breathing, high-power street and strip engines. Vastly improved flow and efficiency at high boost levels, providing completely new levels of power gain. Blower Drive - We spend a great deal time and effort making the best blower drive components for our kits.The Crank Pulley is a two piece modular design. It consists of two parts. One part is the RMS Crank Hub and the second part is the RMS Blower Drive Pulley. The Hub bolts onto the engine and the Supercharger Drive Pulley bolts onto the hub. This makes it possible to replace the Drive Pulley with out having to purchase an entire Crank Pulley setup. The Hub always remains in place. ( see optional pulley setups in the Blower Drive category) Airflow Management - Much thought goes into our airflow components. All components are designed keeping two driving factors in mind, temperature and velocity. The Thermoplastic air intake system integrates By-Pass control and PCV systems. This RMS By-Pass Valve diverts large amounts of air when not needed, and maximizes gas mileage and smooth drivability by efficiently controlling air flow anomalies. When the accelerator is applied, high rpm power responds instantly. Charge Air Mabifold - The cast aluminum RMS manifold replaces the plastic factory manifold. The factory manifold can not withstand boost pressure over 4.5 psi. This manifold is designed solely for the S54 supercharged engine. For superior intake airflow control and reliability, the RMS manifold is a must. Nicely powder coated in black wrinkle finish. Works excellent, looks great.
Software - Engine management is done on the factory chip. We recalibrate the software for efiiciency, power and reliabilty. All software is done inhouse in our dyno laborotory. We do not depend on outside sources for this difficult engineering practice. In-house means, best quality control and most efficient process to deliver the software. No need to send your ECU, the kit comes with plug and play flash programmer. Q. What kind of dyno do you use? A. We use a Clayton CT500. It is simliar to the Mustang dyno numbers. Power numbers on the Dynojet will be slightly higher. Q. What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2. A. The stage one does not use the air to liquid aftercooler. Stage 2 Does use the aftercooler. Note: you can upgrade a Stage 1 to the Stage 2 by adding the Stage 2 Upgrade |
